We set out to find a platform that could give us consistent, cloud-based, professional signatures across all our team members. Not only did Exclaimer do this, it also has a great user interface that makes it very easy to create and modify.

Inconvénients

We wanted a company-wide, professional email signature. What we got was a platform that seamlessly integrates with Google Workspace to pull in our team members' information in a easy to create template.

Avantages

The ease of creating signatures. The drag and drop solution works really wel. When users have been assigned multiple signatures, they can very easy switch between them.

Inconvénients

When adding groups to a signature, the group must be mail enabled. Also the user signatures are not visible when sending from a shared mailbox.

The billing department is terrible and the customer service is even worse. They have been charging me for almost a year and not providing the service. Repeated attempts to contact support and the credit department go unanswered. I have an open case on this issues that is 6 weeks old. No update in 3 weeks despite repeated attempts to contact support. The last update I received was they were trying to get in touch with their own Credit department, which is a strange response.

Avantages

Great functionality in that it allows for more complex mail signatures that are platform agnostic and allow mobile computing to remain invisible to the receiver.

The lack of mobile-responsive and dark mode testing

It's very easy to get consistency across your entire team with their tool. It's also going to be fantastic for advertising and event marketing.

Inconvénients

Setup was not as smooth as expected, and the support team seems pretty scattered. I got there eventually, but the constant emails from Zendesk checking in on my case after I considered them to be closed were quite annoying.

You get what you pay for and while this product is more expensive than it's competitors, it outshines them in every way.

The features I most use are the signature tester and troubleshooters, which can help you to determine what signature a particular user will get when sending to certain recipients. You can have separate internal and external signatures or even change your signature details by recipient domain, so if you have a partner organisation that you're happy to share your mobile number with, but wouldn't give that out to the public, you can do that.The signature setup is very versatile and there are some simple but effective things that you can't do with e.g. Exchange mail flow rules - conditional separators, for example, which will only appear when the attributes are non-blank. This stops the stray commas or dashes which we had in our old rules.

Inconvénients

I still find it a little hard to know if I have the correct group setup for which emails get sent via Exclaimer, as we don't have all our users on it yet. I think I had a little bit of trouble also with the sync group for whose attributes to sync so I ended up just getting it to sync them all. That does mean you can trial what signatures would look like for people who aren't yet using Exclaimer.I also find it hard when you have a lot of different signatures, to know if you've arranged it correctly, as you can have folders (which have their own criteria for which users to apply to) and then signatures within those - it's therefore possible to assign a signature to a user but not assign that user to that folder, or vice versa, and not have the signatures applying that you think you do. I'm not sure there's a better way to do it though, and that's why you have to set it up in a way that makes most sense to you and also use the troubleshooter/sig tester to check that you have done what you think you have.

You cant send an email when you run out of subscription automatically, you have to disable it from the tenant security settings

I simply love that it works, and well! No more attachments or funky sized logos when you reply or forward. It's all streamlined and looks professional. I really like that I can manage all e-sigs so others can't decide they would like 18 pt font, or to change their title to a title of the day. LOL

I wish the design process was a little easier. It's a little clunky.

Exclaimer is relatively easy to use and set up.

The renewal invoice is not available on the Exclaimer site which is frustrating. I never receive notice when I'm being billed. Until recently, support for the product was virtually non-existent. I finally made contact with one support specialist in the US which was a very big help.

Avantages

How easy it is to add new users to the portal, and assign them permissions to edit signatures. This allows the IT department to offload this task to Marketing, and IT are only responsible for implimentation/issues.

Inconvénients

The signature designer screen can sometimes get very finnicky. You end up with containers within containers within containers, and in amongst that there will be a setting you're trying to find somewhere.

Exclaimer has proven great for managing multiple signatures for are myriad of brands that we use across the globe, including for our dealers and international networks, we can easily deploy and manage unique signatures with the appropriate geographical content

Inconvénients

There is a limitation of only one hyperlink to be embedded within a signature image 9i.e. you can't have buttons) and sometimes getting the padding lined up takes some trial and error.

Avantages

Integration into Office 365 is a breeze, the connectors do all the work for you. I usually love the ability to give the customer edit access to manage their own signatures.

I find the signature builder itself a bit difficult to use, sometimes i find the Inherit Text options dont save.

Exclaimer is a Plug, Setup & Play tool. It works in the background without too much interaction, which is great! Also the support team are really great and knowledgable.

Inconvénients

The Admin panel could be better. I think its design is a bit old, the signature builder could be better, but really, its all workable once you get your head around it.

Avantages

Everything from setting up to deploying is very easy and you can be up and running in minutes.Once up and running no more fiddly work getting users to apply the correct signature or one at all.

Inconvénients

The only actual issue found is if the email is large (over 30Mb) do not get the signature added at all. This can be overcome if you add the local outlook client addin for exclaimer, but this is the only real issue found so far. It can be a little fiddly getting your signatures to be absolutely perfect, but the signature editor is still far easier and superior to the alternative.

The best thing for me was that our signatures have the same look in all Tools and devices.

Does what it's supposed to do, we deployed signatures for various customers with relative ease.I like having the option for the add-in, update agent or server side or even deploying a combination to statisfy the customer.

As of late we're having issues with formatting the text.When changing text to a different font or colour it keeps changing back to the default for example.When formatting the text in Word and then pasting it in the webUI it usually works.
