The program is too confusing. I have used this for several years because of government requirement to transmit W2s electronically and I still have issues of following the program and I have to call support. The Customer support is great, however, I should be able to process everything without contacting support every time!

The program is easy to use, make corrections if necessary. I like that you see what the form looks like to know everything is in the right spot. A lot of online instructions included that are very detailed in order to walk you through step by step.

Inconvénients

There is alot of information within the program, so it is a little overwhelming when you first get in it and a little difficult to know where to start. However, there are several detailed instructions and guidance from [sensitive content hidden] and support team were very helpful.

Avantages

We've used Account Ability for 10+ years and it's been very reliable. It pulls data from the prior year, which saves time. Overall it's a good value for the money.

Inconvénients

Does not link to any other software, so everything must be entered manually initially. Moving around within Account Ability seems a bit cumbersome and your unable to put the entered documents in alphabetical order, once entered, for easy location.

Avantages

Account Ability is easy to use and works with most systems.
Offers compliance on all ACA and Federal Regulated Forms.

Inconvénients

I think the price if too high to add ACA package.
Can not efile certain forms.

Very easy to set up. Was able to use the very first year, with ease.
I have been using this program to report 1099-S and 1099-Misc/ 1099-NEC for years.

We have been using Account Ability for over 5 years and it is very easy to use and the Customer Service Department is very knowledgeable as well as helpful if we need assistance.

I would recommend this product very highly to anyone who is doing payroll functions (W-2s , 1099s etc)

Nothing with the Company at all. The process of the reporting is labor intensive but that is from the IRS regulations. Account Ability made it as easy as possible. It was the work to prepare the data for submission that was challenging.

Ease of use and customer support is amazing. They are able to help with any questions we have along the way and help to ensure that our tax documentation was correct and reported correctly.

Satisfied with Account Ability customer ticket service. Once I create a ticket, I always have someone call me directly and help my needs in less than 30 mins. I will continue to ask questions because they help me walk through the process.

Account Ability made the process of filing 1098-Fs for my organization possible. The user guide is very helpful and using the software is relatively easy.

This software achieves what it is supposed to do. Creates our 1098 and 1099 after importing from our Accounting system.

Inconvénients

The software is not user friendly, nor easy to "figure out". There are a lot of screens and modules and no real help on where or how to complete. Even the mapping, which one you know what you are doing should be easy, is not really easy. It is easy to mess the mapping up and have to start over. It is just clunky and out dated as far as software goes for ease of use.

It does everything I need it to do and I feel confident that the compliance requirements are up to date.

Inconvénients

In the beginning, it's a bit overwhelming, just like any new software. However, once you know how to navigate and if you follow the instructions....it works like a charm.
