Backlog m'aide énormément dans la planification, le suivi et la gestion à bonne escient de mes projets. C'est un outil de travail très moderne avec plein de fonctionnalités.

Backlog est un peu couteux et présente une grille tarifaire moins abordable.

The most I like about Backlog is - I can check each issuse's status, assignee, plan time and actual time in real time. So I don't need to ask & contact to assignee vai DM. It's very useful and reduce waste time for me.

Inconvénients

Hornestly, I have no idea about its. I have been use Backlog over 3 months and I don't even know what is the weakness or disadvantages. I want to use for a long time and if I found something, I will let you know, Backlog Team.

The best thing about using the backlog was
"User-friendly interface" which provides an intuitive design that is easily accessible to users without a technical background.

Inconvénients

In my opinion, the interface felt a little outdated.
Also when reviewing the entire request, the lack of capability to see the number of changed code lines is a little bit disappointed.

No links between tickets. Good to have a feature, like in Jira, to create associations with other tickets, e.g. "blocked by", "relates to", etc.

There are a tons of features. So many that I have not even got to use all of them!

I wanted a rich translation support along with a more customizable first launch page dash (Will help for me and other people working in MNCs where not everyone's familiar in english so they type in their own languages)

Intuitive, affordable, very much like Jira.

Inconvénients

Security settings per swim lane are not possible. Custom fields can not be shared.

Easy to use versatile project/task/issue management tool. It can be used for many different purposes and doesn't put any constraints on any use case.

I miss a quick option to update progress on a task/issue without having to open it for editing. For example, if you want to set an issue as "resolved", then you have to open it for editing, change status to resolved, and then save and close it.
I would like to be able to do this with just one click or one selection in a dropdown from where the issue is listed.

What I like most about Backlog is how it simplifies the process of submitting IT tickets. It makes reporting issues easy and efficient, ensuring that all requests are tracked and addressed in an organized manner. It also allows us to follow the status of our submissions, which helps improve communication and transparency within our team

I don't have any cons at this time. Backlog has been working well for my needs, especially in managing IT-related tickets and issues efficiently.

Avantages

Easy to pick up and use at a glance. Features are readily available in all UIs and their functions act predictably. I don't think I've ever felt the need to consult documentation, it just works as you expect.

Inconvénients

Probably part of what makes Backlog so robust is that is very specifically designed for a certain type of workflow and is not always as flexible as I'd like. For example, in Kanban mode (at least from what I can tell) there is no way to add or customize columns for different types of work (advertising copy, for example, has a much different lifecycle than software issue tracking). Likewise, for issue priorities there is only low/med/high and no room to customize for different environments or possibilities.

I like the board function the most. The way you can assign tasks to individuals, with a due date and additional notes for each task is very useful.

I wish there was a faster way to assign tasks to individuals besides navigating a menu once the task is created. I wish you could assign the task while creating it.
