One of its greatest strengths is scalability. Organizations can manage payroll, benefits, time and labor, recruiting, performance management, and employee engagement within a single ecosystem. The reporting capabilities are robust, allowing HR teams to access and analyze workforce data efficiently, and the employee self-service features are generally well received and help reduce administrative burdens. > > **Inconvénients**: Where my experience became frustrating was with customer support and some of the additional products sold as part of the Paylocity ecosystem. We frequently received inconsistent or incorrect guidance from support representatives, which occasionally resulted in costly mistakes and required additional time to resolve. The revolving-door nature of support contacts also made it difficult to establish continuity and build confidence in the advice being provided. I was also disappointed by several add-on products that were represented as seamlessly integrated but did not function as expected in practice. For example, we selected Paylocity's COBRA administration solution with the expectation that it would automate processes and reduce administrative effort. Instead, we encountered significant manual workarounds that diminished the value of the product and largely defeated the purpose of implementing it. Similarly, after transitioning to Paylocity's HSA/FSA administration services, employees expressed considerable frustration with the account setup process and ongoing account access. > > Overall, Paylocity is a strong HRIS and payroll platform with excellent functionality, reporting, and scalability. However, organizations should carefully evaluate add-on products and be prepared for potential challenges with customer support.
