Its most outstanding functionality is the possibility of creating applications without the need to know programming through codes, thus streamlining processes and adapting to the needs of each company.

It is a good application but it has difficulties in the construction of complex software, besides the security measures required may not be those given by Zoho.

It has a lot of other little functions, which is great, everything is on a same place.

Regardless of all the little functions, it is a bit hard to understand where to go to get things done, integrations wise; and even using the help articles, some of them aren't updated

I've been using this app for a couple of years and a lot of my business is based around it. I would usually rave about how good it is

Inconvénients

I have a data security issue with the app. The product claims that your user data is protected, but there is a flaw with the way the dropdown menu data is shared. Lets say you enter some data in one sheet, and want to use this data in another sheet via a dropdown menu. Not only is your data shown, but so is everyone else. This cannot be fixed by profiles / roles / filters etc. I am on the unlimited users plan and this is a serious flaw in the system for me. I have been unable to further develop my app for a month or so and take it to the next level for my business.

I have communicated this with Zoho and they have acknowledged the issue and told me a developer can fix the problem. I have paid one of their certified developers to fix this for me - but he just took my money and hasn't been in touch for a month or so. I have made a formal complaint to Zoho about him, but he is still listed on their website as a certified and recommended developer. I have asked numerous times for help and have got no where. I am now just being passed from one unknown support person to the next. I am absolutely fed up. It seems that this issue could be solved in an hour or so, but I have now probably spent over 12 hours of my own time on it and still don't have a solution.

I actually think that Zoho Creator has a great business benefit in being able to save a lot of money in the creation of applications quickly and easily, satisfying the needs that need to be covered with each application. With the added artificial intelligence, it makes everything possible in the creation of each application

Inconvénients

Although its application development process is not so complicated, I feel that there is no learning path for all the functions that Zoho Creator has and it makes you feel lost at certain times when you do not know what each tool should be used for.

There are many existing templates and walk throughs available from the get go.
Several coding language support is also a huge plus.
Our new apps were easily connected to one another.

Not all screens and devices were supported and accounted for.
It is impossible to grow and make apps bigger, and the tool is not techy enough for that.

We use zoho creator build a custom integration of desk, projects and cliq. This allows us to manage all of our tasks including projects, shipments and accounting.

The support for sales is not good. Technical support is. The platform is also not for newbies. You literally need to know about writing certain strings of code and what they entail. It is not as straight forward as out of the box

Because this application requires little to no coding, you can design and automate your own workflows and processes. You may link to a plethora of programmes to automate your physical labour as well. It offers a drag-and-drop feature for creating forms, but you should be familiar with Deluge to build a function and truly take advantage of this.

As a minimal code software, there are some limitations.Deluge knowledge is required in order to use this.It occasionally takes an eternity to load or save any forms.They lack an application that can be installed on Windows or Mac.

Do things that you never thought that you could do with Zoho Creator like making your own apps or designing a portal for your clients.

The only downside is the lack of available training materials. It is a figure it out as you go along but thankfully it's it is quite easy to figure out.

A user can get up and running with Zoho Creator within about ten minutes. It is very intuitive and requires very little set-up. Any time I need to collect data, Zoho is my go-to app for form creation, and it is easy to distribute the forms securely using a link, a password, or to embed it in another site. Zoho has great customizable workflows if you are able to handle minimal programming.

The user interface is very basic and could probably use an update to modernize a bit. It would also be nice if the front-end interface could be more highly customized. I use Zoho Creator mostly to create forms that I'm sending to people who don't require something super pretty with lots of graphic design. If i needed a visually compelling form, Zoho would not be my choice because it isn't rich in those features.

This software is a winner with what it has to offer. I like the fact that it can check and monitor if there are bugs in the system. We work from our desktops, tablets and phones, and this software is able to run applications without giving me any headaches. I love the graphics and I know that are gadgets are always protected and secured.

The customer support department is quite inept when it comes to issues and concerns. They need to train their staff to be quick to resolve issues so we don’t have to wait that long.

Avantages

Zoho creator is intuitive and a great tool to automate business processes. We are a manufacturer and use this for QC and RMA management. I love that whatever you create can work on phones, tablets, and the web. They also have great support and they have conferences you can attend to get one on one with the developers and experts and get your questions answered. You can't beat the price either!

Creator was upgraded to creator 5 relatively recently and all of the help documentation has not yet been updated accordingly.

We use this mainly for the email for our business. We were able to use our own domain name. It's easy to use and love the interface.

The sorting capabilities are a little limited. It's not easy to find the settings to forward your email to something like Outlook. I had to search for them.

I have used Zoho creator for more than four years, so I have witnessed many changes and implementation of new features, and that's is one of the things I love about Zoho Creator, how they modernize the product and improve it year after year. In our case, we use Zoho Creator for data management and some integrations and, for us, it is an excellent and easy-to-use solution.

Despite being, in general, an easy-to-use tool, the advanced options are not easy to master, and the documentation is not the best.

1) Speed is too slow for "real" business use.
2) On premise application is forever stuck in Beta, there is no choice but to use Zoho's slow servers.
3) URL and mobile app customization is not possible.

None but I would love to see more choices on the form themes like they have in Zoho Forms and the ability to place fields anywhere on the form.

Very easy to build a CRUD application using drag and drop form designer.

Deluge scripting language is javascript like and easy to carry out simple transformations and calculations. It's simple to pick up and quite powerful.

The UI is clean and quite nice by default but themes cannot be customised.

Ability to take input from web facing forms captured to a backend Creator database for further processing and workflow. This is a great feature that makes it very suitable for web based leads and enquiries, CRM functions and bookings.

Very limited UI customisation, basically you have to pick a theme and stick with that

Feels quite restrictive to the Zoho ecosystem

Report design is poor and difficult to understand but actually quite versatile once you dive deep

Mobile app is appealling, but I don't like the way it has to run within the Zoho wrapper app. End users don't really understand that you open Zoho Creator and then you open your database/application. Would be better to be able to compile to individually wrapped apps.
