Many submodules and many of them you need at some point, and you didn't buy it initially.

Genius Lies In Simplicity

I am very satisfied with Cargoson. It makes my job much easier, eliminating the need to visit different shipping companies web pages and looking for the right contacts to ask price quotations from.

Avantages

I like the simplicity and quickness, both in creating the shipments and communicating with the shippers'. I like how easy it is to ask quotations from many different service providers at once and then choose the best option based on their offered prices.

Inconvénients

If I could improve anything, then I would improve the automatic price calculation when shipment comprises from different types of packages. For example one EUR pallet, one HPL pallet and one package. At the moment the automatic price calculator does not display the price for such shipments automatically.

Experience with Cargoson

Cargoson provides a robust and smart solution for transport management, especially for businesses that work with multiple carriers. Its ability to consolidate freight inquiries into a single window, seamlessly manage transport orders, and integrate existing pricing agreements is very appealing

Avantages

Cargoson offers a highly efficient and user-friendly solution for businesses managing their transportation logistics

Inconvénients

While Cargoson connects to major carriers, smaller, independent, or local carriers who may not have EDI systems in place might not be fully supported. This could potentially limit the platform's usefulness for businesses that rely on smaller or regional transport providers.

Regarding smaller or local carriers without EDI/API integrations, the reason Cargoson doesn’t offer automatic milestone and tracking updates for them is simply because these carriers don’t have the technical capability for it.

However, when using Cargoson, even these smaller carriers can manually update milestones, truck numbers, or delivery statuses directly into the system for their customer. This way, they become comparable with larger carriers who have automated tracking systems, providing more visibility and control over shipments.

If you still have concerns about how to handle updates with smaller carriers, our customer support or your personal contact at Cargoson will be happy to assist, share best practises. 🙂

One of the best TMS out there

When we’ve found out about Cargoson, we’ve made our Transport Management so easy and transparent

Cargoson- A must have for any online store that has multiple delivery partners

Very positive. As I said, it saves us time and money.

Avantages

It makes work much easier since it gathers all of our transportation partners' delivery options into one place. You can easily see the cheapest option, which saves the company a lot of money.

Inconvénients

I don't really have any negatives. Whenever we encountered any problem with the integration, the Cargoson team responded fast and we could solve any technical difficulties.

Cargoson review

Great program and it helps us a lot together with the integration with our sales program.

Avantages

With Cargoson the transport orders are much more effective and faster. We are very satisfied.

Inconvénients

Nothing, only maybe some small improvements, so that I could make a change in the order after that when I opened all the requests and saw the prices.

As for making changes after viewing prices, this limitation exists because each carrier needs the same information to provide comparable offers. If the details are changed after inquiries are sent, it creates inconsistencies in price offers and transit times, making it impossible to compare “apples with apples.” 😏

Keep up the good work

Overall experience is very positive. Helps a lot with daily time management and also basically eliminates the need for large transport procurements. Also you are all the time up to date with current price levels regarding the transport

Regarding delivery times, it’s important to note that with most carriers (except for couriers like FedEx, TNT, DHL Express, UPS, etc. who has more capable integrations), the transit times are uploaded directly from your agreed personal pricelists with carriers. If these times don’t align with reality, this is something to address with your carrier partner. Cargoson TMS itself is a logistics management tool for manufacturing, wholesale, and retail companies, designed to work with all freight partners, but it doesn’t influence carrier service quality. 😏

Inconvénients

Sometimes it's not as easy to understand if adding 5 packages one should sum the total kg of the packages or write the single package weight. No option to sort the shipments in the Shipment menu. Would like to have an option to sort by ETA and/or ETD.

Overall it is better than without

Avantages

All transports at one place and you don't need to overspend time on calculating transport in different courier accounts

Inconvénients

Sometimes courier do not receive information attached to the shipment. Commonly TNT to the USA is missing info all the time

Regarding the missing attachments with TNT for shipments to the USA or other countries outside the EU, this issue indeed arises from their system’s technical limitations. They just do not have technical capability and we send these attachments to them separately via e-mail.
On the bright side, integrations with FedEx already allow us to send Goods Invoices, and DHL Express takes it a step further with both Goods Invoices and Export Declarations seamlessly supported via our TMS.

If carriers update their technical capabilities, we will gladly make the necessary developments on the Cargoson TMS side to provide all possible functionalities.

Cargoson software is the logistics tool you won't realize you need until you start using it!

It has been very good. The main problem that has been solved for our company is overview and communication between carriers and our own employees.

Avantages

One place to place transport bookings to all of our freight partners. Also, it is absolutely easy to compare all of our freight partner's pricelists and transit times. Delayed Shipment report allows to only get notifications about those shipments that are late, so I only have to deal with the transport orders that really need my attention. And customer support is also super friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask more really to be honest. Keep up the good work ;)

Inconvénients

Sometimes carriers tracking statuses are not updated in real-time, but that's probably not a Cargoson issue, but a carrier tracking issue, as it comes to our Cargoson account from carrier own e-portals.

Regarding your point about the carrier database, it’s true that we don’t display a full list. However, you can simply type in the carrier name, and if it’s already been added by another user in your country, it will be available. If not, no problem—just request the carrier, and we’ll gladly add it to your account. If needed, we’ll integrate the carrier’s e-system or even work with email-based carriers, all included in your subscription.

As for carrier integration technical capabilities, this feature is already in our future development plans.

Some suppliers/providers do not have option to print out transport related documents, labels from system, also some have not links to tracing.

Our integration with Google Address Book and the smart address finder with customer address book allows you to quickly locate addresses by typing just the first three letters. Cargoson - fast and easy way to find best transport solution

We are really used to work with Cargoson and for example for some companies haven't made their webpages useful for us.

Avantages

I really like to see different companies offers in the same place. Its really fast way to find out best offer.

Inconvénients

sometimes there are some difference between price on Cargoson and price on the bill.

User experience at Cargoson

Overall experience is great and for me it has worked without problems.

It has helped us save a lot of time.

Avantages

The easiest part is getting all the offers in one place, so it's really easy compare prices and delivery time.

Inconvénients

I don't know if the dates are automatic or what, but sometimes the delivery dates shown are wrong. Then we still have to contact the carrier to see what the real time would be. Also we have heard that some of our carriers have uploaded the pricelists, but we can't still get automated prices.

As we do not offer or mediate transport services ourselves, any discrepancies in delivery dates should be discussed directly with your carriers for the most accurate information.
