I really like how clean and simple Dropbox Paper feels. It’s not cluttered like some other tools, so it’s super easy to just start writing or brainstorming. I also love that you can drop in videos, images, and even Spotify links – everything looks good and works smoothly

Inconvénients

It’s a bit basic when it comes to formatting. If you’re trying to make a super polished document, it’s not the best for that. Also, you can’t really use it offline, which can be annoying when you don’t have great internet.

Dropbox paper is very useful when starting out with a project and the initial steps including:
-Setting milestones
-Assigning tasks to team members

Inconvénients

More sophisticated project needs like modifying it in any way and notifying the members each time is not as efficient. Also, everyone on the team needs to have access to dropbox paper to use most of the features.

That it is efficient for jobs that are work from home but still need to access documents from the company.

No dislikes at this time. It has been a benefit to us right now.

I like the ease of use. The command button, the keyboard shortcuts, and the fact that it was integrated in my file system worked great.

Inconvénients

When I used Dropbox Paper, task management didn't feel like the purpose of the platform. It seemed like it wanted to give me an alternative to Google Docs. And, it sort of does, but largely didn't. I still needed to interact with my email which was in Gmail so I couldn't truly escape the Gmail ecosystem.

Great tool for keeping notes and have your team collaborate on it. The mobile app ensures team members that are working remotely or on a project site can access the notes. Nice features are being able to add a timeline so the entire team stays on track with their tasks and responsibilities.

Inconvénients

The editing features are limited, however there are many other programs if you need a more in depth editing program.

Dropbox Paper combines ease of use, collaboration features, and customization options, making it a versatile tool for both individual note-taking and team collaboration.

I have no cons for Dropbox paper. One feature that can be enhanced is the Offline limitations. Although Dropbox allows offline editing, some students and staff reported limitations. For instance, offline mode doesn’t support all features. This is the only improvement which can be considered.

I think the Dropbox Paper feature is fairly new. It has a great general layout where you have the ability to create tables, explain the document, make a to-do list and tag people plus make a timeline. You can highlight text or leave comments directly in the document which makes tracking progress and decisions super easy.

I really wish the to-do list had a capability to automotically put the dates in chronological order and add them to the timeline. Right now the option is there, but it is all manual. Plus, I could use more highlight color options for color coding!

I'd describe it as a "live notebook", it's quite the handy-dandy little software. We can work together in real time, no matter where we're actually sitting. The highlight is the versatility, use it for anything from tasks to schedules to whiteboards.

The mobile app could use some sprucing up. Otherwise, no complaints.

However, unlike Google Docs and Google Drive, you cannot embed Dropbox Paper docs in other places. In my opinion and use case, this kills the experience of the software. The reason I like Paper is because of the ease and casualness of it. But its best use is not as a "main line," but rather as an "extension" to be utilized by some other main line—I hope that image comes across effectively.

It has so much potential, but you can tell Dropbox doesn't really care about it anymore. I'm sad about that because I really do enjoy it, despite my criticisms.
