Set it and forget it
This is a great solution to keep track of mileage and locations. The app auto records you trips and you just have to clear out the personal miles.
Avantages
The fact that it is automatic. You just clear out personal mileage and you are good to go.
Inconvénients
I do not like the fact that there is no Navigation functionality.

Avantages
Motus takes all the manual recording and man hours out of tracking my business expenses regarding mileage. Once you program Motus it is basically, set it and forget it. This product allows me to concentrate on selling, this produces higher sales for the company and increased commission for me.
Inconvénients
occasionally there are glitches. sometimes trips seem to not appear on the app.

It takes time to manually enter but the amount of information on the website is very good and shows accurate data over all my years in the program and I trust that they update fixed and variable costs to reflect real market pricing so employees aren't left holding the bag.
Avantages
I use Motus website virtually daily to update my driving history for the work day and I treat it as an important reminder to follow up on those visits whether its calling the customer, scheduling another visit or the final installation, etc.
Inconvénients
I haven't really played with the mobile app since the very beginning because I don't particularly care for the level of tracking this allows my office to know my every whereabouts all the time.

Driving the States
I’m traveling the States and don’t even know its there but it is on. I’m happy with Motus not Happy with gas prices .
Avantages
I like ho easy it it’s to use . Most of the time I don’t realize it’s on . You can leave it on all the time or use when needed
Inconvénients
The only down side is that it takes a lot of battery . I forget my charger and sometimes it takes my phone down I battery life.

Have loved motus long before it was motus.
I have used motus as a rep, manager, and administrator. Big fan.
Avantages
Motus is the only true solution to fleet management that does not penalize company and sales reps…period.
Inconvénients
Nothing. My only issue is with the flat rate reimbursement amount which I don’t believe is a motus issue but more a corporate budgeting issue.

Motus is always running in the background recording my business mileage making it easy for me to submit expense reports. Motus is a very easy and convenient tool to use.
Inconvénients
I really have no complaints. The app works well and does all the work for me. I just hit submit and it's done.

Plain simple
Tracking mileage used to be a headache. Now it just isn’t.
Avantages
Motus is awesome because it is so simple to use. Having tracked miles manually before, Motus has freed up time and reduced stress in my job significantly.

I set it for my work hours and it auto records my mileage throughout the day. Works great.

I love that it links to my phones gps and automatically records my stops throughout the day.

I wish it was easier to set which location is which for easy adjusting if the recording gets messed up

Really, there is nothing I like about this software except it does what it needs to

It is so hard to manually enter mileage. It takes forever. Adding additional stops. Finishing at "home" every day. The norm is to drive to a location and then back again. That should be the default. I shouldn't have to enter I left Home, went to customer site X, and then have to reenter I went home. Each day should just finish with going back to home or office. If I didn't go home, that should be the extra step.

Motus makes it easy to manage mileage reimbursement
Motus has lowered our mileage reimbursement expenses by almost $200 a month by allowing us to subtract the employee's daily commute from their business mileage. Multiply that by 20 or so business days each month, and it significantly lowers the amount of mileage that needs to be reimbursed.
Avantages
Motus puts an app in the hands of an employee driver allowing the company to capture trip details including date and time each time a driver makes a stop. It lowered our vehicle expenses because it took away the guesswork, and the trips are validated by GPS.
Inconvénients
It is not able to do a standard distance daily commute like my previous mileage administrator did. My previous administrator was bought and merged with Motus, and most of their checks and balances can be manipulated by a motivated driver.

Useless Waste of Time
The associates I have interacted with at their "App Support" have all been very professional and nice and as helpful as they can be.
Beyond those interactions, absolutely NOTHING positive to say about the app.
Avantages
What I will like most about this software is not having to use it ever again. From the standpoint of a daily user, there is nothing positive to say about the software. The only entities benefitting from my use of this software are the company for which I work and Motus. I am LOSING significant money every month on gas.
Inconvénients
Hmmm, let's see. My complaints are the same as virtually ever other users' complaints. The software is unreliable and inaccurate. I've been forced to use it for about six months now and it has never tracked mileage accurately. It is ALWAYS in the favor of the company and is always off by at least several hundred miles. Aside from this, if one reads the complaints, these are the exact same complaints that many others have expressed about this app for years. YEARS! And those complaints have never been addressed. There are only two possible conclusions here: 1-Motus is incapable of fixing their own app or 2-Motus just doesn't care. Either way, if you're using it to track and get reimbursed for your mileage, it is very likely you are getting screwed.

Motus User - easy to track mileage
Ít makes tracking and reporting my business miles easy, as it is installed on my work cell. The largest problem that we as a sales team are currently experiencing is the valuation of an average vehicle to replace in the past couple of years during the vehicle shortage.

This product makes tracking my miles during the week very easy. I dont even need to think about it.

Stay away from Motus!
I have very little good things to say about this Company. I would highly recommend every business to stay away and not use them.

It tracks mileage, but that's about it. Not very many positives.
Inconvénients
Customer support is terrible, they pay pennies on the dollar to the people using it. A lot of trips don't sync. Payments to employees take way too long.
